INFORMATION ENGINEERING IN FUNCTION OF IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Abstract:
The need of improvement of sanitation using modern information technology is presented. The computer information system for the operative and planned support of disinfection, disinsection and deratization (DDD) is explained. Mentioned are used standards as well as program and organising components. Outlined are the possibilities on the connection with the business system of users and the securing of synergetic impacts from the implementation and use of the DDD_InfoSys computer program. Database and other benefits made with the modern information and communication technology based on the information system and Windows operation systems are explained The purpose of DDD_InfoSys is based on balanced information, organisation and scientific support for the disinfection, disinsection and deratization bound with the knowledge and skilfulness in the field of public health and protection of the environment. Use of the DDD_InfoSys program allows control of quality of the work that has been done, protection of workers as well as environment protection concerned with the application of pesticides. Such approach for developing DDD_InfoSys system enabled friendly linking with the business environment of the users and makes feasible the synergetic effect of the implementation and use of this information system.
